Color Scheme
In-built color scheme
ZTree's default color scheme is in-built within ZTW.EXE. If you start ZTW.EXE alone in a plain directory, you'll get the classic White/Yellow on Blue scheme. When colors are configured in the configuration menu (Alt-F10,F4), the settings are however saved in ZTW.INI in bytes 0x20-0x31 (see below). The ZTW.INI color scheme then overrides the in-built color scheme. Starting with Zeta v2.0.159 (dated January 20, 2009), ZCOLORS.INI file (if activated) can now handle also color schemes which, in turns, overrides the ZTW.INI color scheme. To create a color scheme within ZCOLORS.INI, just uncomment and edit the appropriate lines. For instance, this is an alternative "Yellow on Black" scheme.;YELLOW ON WHITE SCHEME ;BAR: BLACK ON WHITE ; Highlight bar ;FRAMES: BRI WHITE ON BLACK ; Frames ;DIRECTORY: BRI YELLOW ON BLACK; Directory window ;HISTORY: BRI YELLOW ON BLACK ; Command history ;MENU: BRI YELLOW ON BLACK ; Application menu ;TAGN: BRI WHITE ON BLACK ; Tags (normal) ;TAGG: BRI WHITE ON BLACK ; Tags (global) ;VHITC: BRI WHITE ON BLACK ; Viewer hits (current) ;VHITO: BLACK ON WHITE ; Viewer hits (other) ;NORMAL: BRI YELLOW ON BLACK ; Normal file window ;GLOBAL: BRI GREEN ON BLACK ; Branch/Showall/Global file window
Factory default for ZCOLORS.INI
While there is no need to define the default (factory) color scheme in ZCOLORS.INI, here it is:;FACTORY DEFAULT SCHEME ;BAR: BLACK ON WHITE ; Highlight bar ;FRAMES: BRI CYAN ON BLUE ; Frames ;DIRECTORY: BRI WHITE ON BLUE; Directory window ;HISTORY: BRI YELLOW ON CYAN ; Command history ;MENU: BRI YELLOW ON CYAN ; Application menu ;TAGN: BRI WHITE ON BLUE ; Tags (normal) ;TAGG: BRI WHITE ON BLUE ; Tags (global) ;VHITC: BRI WHITE ON CYAN ; Viewer hits (current) ;VHITO: BLACK ON WHITE ; Viewer hits (other) ;NORMAL: BRI YELLOW ON BLUE ; Normal file window ;GLOBAL: BRI GREEN ON BLUE ; Branch/Showall/Global file window
