FTPDrive
Ever wanted to map as a drive a FTP location under ZTree? Here's a nice utility that allows you to do just that. Not only it's FREE but is also PORTABLE (doesn't require installation but does write in registry however).First, download and extract the trim-down version available on this wiki: http://www.ztwiki.com/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=37.
(The original is located at http://www.killprog.com/fdrve.html).
Launch it. All it does, it's to add an icon in the system tray.

Open Settings. Choose which letter will be used to handle FTP locations. You can only use one letter at a time.
FTPDrive works with "servers lists". Disable the "Try retrieve from local NetView" if enabled (it's another utility), then edit the local serves list by clicking on the appropriate button.

Add any ftp location you need, then click OK.

Okay, back to Main Settings window, click on the Advanced tab. For Ztree, the most important thing is to enable "Load into system and console processes". You need to do this only once.
Other settings might be useful for some FTP location. For instance, I raised the "Pree-seek guard delay" to 300ms to avoid some login errors on specific FTP.
Close the tab.

Now, start ZTree (if you had already an instance of ZTree opened, close it and restart it). Log to the FTP drive letter you chose (L: in this exemple).
You'll get this. Use ZTree as usual!

You can log directories as needed.

When you're done, just close FTPDrive from system tray.
NOTE 1: Tested under Windows XP only. No idea if it works with Vista.
NOTE 2: Your mileage may vary! Beware that not all FTP locations will work. Also, file transfer may be slow. If speed is a concern, use a real FTP utility.
NOTE 3: If you experience problems or the mapped drive doesn't reflect recent changes, try to "Clear all caches" or play with settings.
