Sample ZTree Application Menu (F9)

The Application Menu is a valuable feature, not appreciated by most users. ZTree comes with an empty menu, this sample is designed to provide a starting point. My objective in choosing the items to include was that they must be:-

• Useful,
• Work on all versions of Windows (98 up),
• be Safe, and
• not require any programs other than those provided with Windows or ZTreeWin.

SampleZTW_MENU.zip (1.65 Kb) Installation:
If you never used the F9 menu or it is empty (just press F9 to check). Copy the file to the ZTree directory and rename to ZTW_MENU.DAT (ZTW.ZAM Ztree 1.51.24 18 November 2006 or later) (Delete or rename the old ZTW_MENU.DAT or ZTW.ZAM first.) If you have used the F9 menu you will need to switch databases. See:- Switching Databases If using Ztree beta 1.51.24 or later just load the menu from the F9 F2 Load menu item. Once you have used the Menu, you will want to customise and add to it. There are many helpful hints and scripts on:- ZTree Application Menu Library Note: Despite my efforts, these work slightly differently in versions of Windows. Explorer in Win98 has bugs (admitted my Microsoft) and ipconfig may not be included in older OEM Windows.)
